This incredibly easy paper toy is addictive and fun to play with anytime. It only takes four steps, and they're very straightforward. Have fun!

• 1 piece of U.S. letter-sized paper
• 1 small piece of tape
• Scissors

Feel free to cut your paper however you'd like, but it must be long and at least two inches wide.

As shown in the picture above, I cut my paper into an 8.5 in. x 2 in. strip of paper. If you want to go the extra mile, feel free to decorate it; the strip of paper is the only thing we'll need.

Roll up your strip of paper as tight as you can, and then put a piece of tape to hold it together. You should leave this as-is for at least 5-7 minutes so that it maintains its shape when you use it.

Once you take out the tape, you should see a nice swirl inside the tube. If you don't see something like this, re-tape the tube and wait a few more minutes.

As I show in the video, simply push the index finger of your dominant hand into the tube (therefore pushing out the swirls) and hold onto the tube lightly using your non-dominant hand. Once you let go of your non-dominant hand, the flinger should shoot in that direction.

This is perfectly harmless, and should not shoot far, allowing you to pick it back up quickly and keep playing!

If you can't easily push out the swirls anymore, you should roll it back up and tighten the tube again.
