First we need to add our glue to a bowl. In this instructable I am demonstrating two different glues a glitter glue and a clear glue.

Baking Soda

Now let's add in our baking soda and stir really well.

Saline/Contact Solution

Next we add in our saline/contact solution. Note that we want to use saline solution that has the ingredient boric acid in it. Start with about a tablespoon of saline solution and see where that gets you. You can always add a little more if you need it. If you add too much it will ruin the slime. Stir the saline solution until the slime comes together then dig in with your hands and knead it, to further incorporate the slime.

More Saline Solution

Add more saline solution as needed until you get the right consistency that you want. Easy as that!

Slime #2

Now let's do one using clear glue. Add the glue to a bowl.

Glitter Anyone?

Next we add in some glitter, food coloring, and our baking soda and stir all the ingredients together with a spoon.

Saline Solution Again

Next up we add in our saline solution again, starting with a tablespoon or a little bit less. Stir first with your spoon then use your hands and knead the slime until you get the right consistency, adding more saline solution a little at a time as necessary. There you go, a fun, cheap activity to do with family and friends! Enjoy!
