Easy Scrunchy/bracelet

This hair scrunchy doubles as a bracelet and is very easy to make! This is the second one I have made and they are really fun and easy to make. I like how you can wear it and it looks like a bracelet, but if you ever need a scrunchy, it's right there!

Supplies

You'll need a hair elastic, some yarn and a crochet hook. The yarn size doesn't matter, just be sure you have the recommended crochet hook size. I'm using a thick crochet thread(I think it is size 8) and the recommended crochet hook size.

Getting Started...(Row 1)

The first thing you do, is of course, make a slip knot. Put it on the crochet hook, put the crochet hook in front of the elastic, and draw a loop from behind. Pull another loop through. You are just making a single crochet stitch on top of the hair elastic. Single crochet in the same way all the way around the hair elastic. Make sure you are pushing the stitches nice and close together!

Row 2

For row 2, just single crochet 2 stitches in each loop for every loop (you are just increasing in every stitch).

Row 3

This row is optional, I did mine without it, but it will give your bracelet/scrunchy more volume. Just single crochet the whole round (this may be a little tedious, as you have a lot of stitches to do!).

Finishing(Row 4)

For the last row, just chain 3, skip 2 stitches, and slip stitch in the 3rd. Complete the last row in this stitch, then weave in the ends!
