First let's preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. (148C) Then you take your seeds and rinse them off removing as much pumpkin guts/stings, etc, as possible. It is ok to leave a few of the guts here and there, they will add some flavor. Then make sure to dry them. Next place them in a bowl and add 2 tsp. of olive oil, canola oil, melted butter, etc. Use a spoon or fork to make sure the seeds are nice and coated.

Seasonings

Now add your seasonings. I am adding a few shakes of salt and a few shakes of garlic powder for my seasonings, you could also give them a bit of kick and add some cajun flavorings. After they are done baking you can add seasonings like ranch and nacho cheese flavor.

Bake the Seeds

Now we spread out the seeds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicon mat. You can probably get away without using a liner, but I always like to use one. Now bake them at 300 F for 20 to 30 minutes. 20 minutes is usually long enough. I happened to bake this batch for about 30 minutes or so. They will be nice and golden brown on the edges. Let them cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a serving dish. Enjoy!
