In order to make these recycled toilet paper roll napkin rings you will need the following:

Toilet paper rolls*

Marker**

scissors or an exacto blade***

*each roll will make 4 napkin rings. my rolls measured about 4.5 inch.

** I used a chalk marker but feel free to use regular markers, paint pens, or any marker of choice.

*** I found scissors easier to work with than an exact blade. They gave me a cleaner edge and I didn't have to be as precise with my cuts.

Cut Toilet Paper Roll

  1. Cut the toilet paper roll in half
  2. Tut the toilet paper roll halves in half.

You should have a total of 4 napkin rings after each toilet paper roll.

Once cut, my napkin rings measured about 1 1/4 inch wide.

Use your marker of choice to draw a design on your napkin rings.

I went with a fall leaf design to use for my thanksgiving table.

I have included a scan of some of the designs I drew to help you get started.
