Easy Recycled Cat Treat Toy

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to show you how to make a super easy cat treat toy! This toy is perfect for your kitties, as they have to figure out how to make the treats come out. Even better, this toy is recycled and you will probably have everything at home. It only takes very few things and is really easy.

You will need:

Scissors

A small paper tube (or a plastic bottle)

Kitty treats

Time to Cut!

Firstly, cut some small holes in your paper tube or plastic bottle. Make sure the holes are big enough for the treats to pass through, but not too big that it will all fall out in one go. I chose to use a paper tube as it’s a lot easier to cut, and fill up the tube with treats. I used a sweetie tube that had used to have randoms inside.

Fill It Up

Once you have cut holes in your tube/bottle, fill it with kitty treats. If you are using a bottle, screw the lid back on, but if you are using a tube, you may want to use some sticky tape to keep it secure.

Give It to Your Cat!

Give the toy to your cat and see how he/she reacts! It may take some time for them to figure out what’s inside, but after one treat comes out, they will know and have fun with the toy!

(I recommend using only treats as I made two and they didn’t use the toy with normal dry food)
