I got the thinnest piece of plywood i drew out different puzzle pieces to individually place around the wall you can make them to piece together if you like i used my dremel saw and carefully and slowly cut each piece out and of course safety glasses an gloves while cutting and sanding which was done aftet got them cut out i sanded then with a hand held sander cube and i smoothed the edges using the dremel tool small round sand bit then i took photo paper and printed out several photos(pictured are my sisters family had permission to show them) once i finished printing and deciding which ones i wanted to use i then took the puzzle pieces one at a time and simply just drew a pattern of my own choosing while doing so i laued each pictured next to them to help decide which picture on which pattern i cut the pictures to an shape close to the pattern design then traced it on the puzzle piece so i know where i wanted the picture to be placed

Then i set the pictures to the side and took the paint pens of colors i chose and painted each piece pattern let it dry all night then i took the pictures and mod podged them on each piece i used the mod pdge as you would glue but thats my choice to do which seemed to work better let that sit for at least 24 hours to cure an dry then i sprayed them with the clear coat glossy twice let it dry then to add some detail i took some decorative thumb tacks and pushed them into the wood in different places on each piece but you can use beads rhinestones anything you like if the tack punches through to the back i just took some wire cutters and clipped off the point part of the tack then used some glue to help hold them down an in place and then i used some wall picture velcro on the back of each puzzle piece to hang them on the wall with no danages to the wall then i placed them randomly on the wall and done.
