Easy Pencil Stand.

Hi! So today I am going to be showing you how to make an easy desk storage device. And the best part is you don't need to go to the grocery store. It's completely and totally FREE! Because guess what. Most and I think probably all of the items in this project are basically things that you would not want to use any ways so in other words, it's a, we'll, you could just say a way to recycle! Yay! So without further ado, let's get started.

Step 1. Getting Started.

So probably the first thing you do when you start a project is well get the materials. So that's what we got to do.
The materials you will need are:
A shoe box
Decorative paper OR wrapping paper OR printed paper
Any box. (I used a blueberry or strawberry box that I washed from my kitchen.)
Small Dixie cups.
Anything to label the items in your box
Scissors
Glue
Tape
TP rolls OR a clean empty jar OR containers OR boxes
And a small plate to hold some glue. But you can just use your Dixie cups.

Step 2: Decorate!

Now we are going to decorate! Now you want to decorate by using wrapping paper or decorative paper.
Decorate the box, containers, smaller boxes, and your jars. After that, you can decorate the TP rolls with scraps or, if not you can always cut the toilet paper rolls to the size of the shoebox to keep from showing the rolls.

To decorate you can use:
Washi tape.
Photo paper.
Cork board sticker.
Chalk board paint.
Whiteboard sticker.
Spray paint

Remember stay creative!
Just keep in mind you should decorate first is because it will be easier to do now than later.

Step 3: Glueing It Down.

So once that's done, you want to pour some of the glue into your container and then dab the bottom of your decorated rolls and immediately and gently push them into the box where ever you feel is best. You can also do the same to the jars, containers, and boxes but I preferred not to because you might be taking them out to use the material inside. But you can too. It does keep them in place. So your choice.

Step 4: Containers. Not Necessary If You Don't Have Containers.

Now you won't to place the Dixie cups in the place of the container and glue it down. Then place the container ( I used a strawberry container) on top of the Dixie cups and guess what! We are done!
