With the end of the year so close and the beginning of a new set of holiday seasons so near it is easy to get quite flustered.

Here is a simple yet cool decoration for the 4th of July, you can make a lot of these in a short amount of time and put them everywhere!

This piece will only take:

  1. two pieces of paper,
  2. a board for cutting on,
  3. a pencil,
  4. Some sticky tape,
  5. a sharp knife.

The Way to Go.

Start by marking out the size of the flag in pencil, be sure to leave one of the corners un-connected.

Cut the rectangle out like shown in photo three, it should be still attached.

Now you need to roll up the cutout to make the flagpole.

Roll up the flagpole tight but not too tight, it needs to be squashed flat-ish and taped to the paper in the end.

You can color it in if you want.

Lay the second piece of paper under the first one with the hole and mark out the edges with the pencil, this is the boundary of the flag.

Now you can move onto the next step!

Now, take out the bottom piece of paper and draw the flags identity.

Be sure to keep inside the boundaries you drew earlier.

Once you have drawn on your flag you need to replace the paper and then tape the two pieces together to prevent slipping.

You have finished now, post these anywhere you like and most importantly, have FUN!
