This Instructable shows you how to create a small rocket out of paper.

This is a fun project to do while quarantined inside.

Gather Your Materials

You need-

  • 1 paper straw (plastic straws might work too)
  • Some construction paper
  • Tape

Cut the Paper

Cut a strip of paper 1-2 inches wide and about 6 inches long.

Roll the Paper

Line the paper straw up with the end of the paper strip and roll them up. The paper roll should slide easily on and off of the straw. Put tape on the edges to keep it from unrolling.

Fold Down the End

Fold the end of the paper roll down a little bit and seal the end off with tape.

Decorate Your Rocket

Load and Lauch

Put your rocket on the end of the straw and blow into the other end of the straw. Don't push the rocket on too hard, or it will not launch off.
