Normally when someone tells you they've made something in a single pot you think about pasta, soup or a stew.

But not on this Instructable,oh no.In here you will find a delicious treat!

Raffaello bonbons are pretty famous here in Europe but they are a bit...well expensive. They have a rich coconut flavor,a single almond inside and a melt-in-your-mouth cream filling.

I have decided to make them at home - in a single pot! Sure,it's not the same but I and everyone else who has tasted them would tell you they are pretty close. They are Raffello Wannabes.

So to get started you will need:

A can of sweetened condensed milk - mine was 397 g

200 g of coconut flakes

50 g almonds

4 tbsp of sugar

1 vanilla

60 g of butter

Also, did I mention they take 20 minutes to make? Let's get started!

Make the Base

In a pot add in your condensed milk, followed by the butter, sugar and vanilla.Use a metal whisk to gently mix them.

I would recommend you to keep the temperature relatively high, but not too high. You want your mixture to boil slightly.

As soon as you see some bubbles popping, add in your coconut flakes.Mix everything nicely,so that it combines and you get a coconut paste. While you are mixing lower the heat.

Take your pot off the heat and let the coconut paste cool a little.

Assemble Your Bonbons

Now that you have got your cooled coconut paste, you are ready to assemble the Raffello Wannabes!

In a seperate plate put some more coconut flakes.I used a spoon to help me form the bonbons equally large.

Take a tablespoon of your coconut paste, flatten it in your palm and put a single almond in the center. Then, gently form a ball.Roll the ball in even more coconut flakes(optional) and your first bonbon is ready!

Put it in a plate and repeat the same process until you run out of the coconut paste.

You can keep the bonbons in your fridge.

Enjoy Your Bonbons!
