These pies are an easier alternative to my Copycat McDonald's Apple Pies made from scratch. They are still pretty tasty though.

Ingredients

For this recipe you will need:

- 1 package pie crust or puffed pastry

- 2 cans apple pie filling

- cinnamon

- sugar

Rolling Out the Dough

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Divide the dough into slices about the size that you want your pies to be. I made 12 pies out of my package of puff pastry. Roll them a little thinner and larger as shown above.

Fill and Bake

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Put the pieces of dough on the pan and spoon in the filling. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the filling and fold the dough over it. Crimp the edges using the tines of a fork. Slit the top of each pie and sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy!

Cool and enjoy at home or on the go.
