Easy Leather Snap Cuff
Super simple leather snap cuff that you can do in just a few minutes. I'm going to be making a lot more of these :-) Great for layering with other bracelets.
BoM
Flat leather strap 6-8" long
Snaps
Setter and anvil (Michaels sells a kit for $4-7)
Hammer
Leather
Measure out a piece of flat leather that is long enough to fit around your wrist. You want to leave 1/4-1/2" extra for the snaps, since the ends will overlap. Mark off where you will put the snaps.
The leather I'm using came from a shop on Etsy, it's sparkly and awesome.
Set End 1
Set a post piece on the anvil, the leather strap on top, and then stud. Give a good hammer to the setter tool. Check to see that the post has been secured to the stud. If it seems loose, give another tap with the hammer. Repeat for the other end using a cap and socket piece.
Set End 2
Repeat for the other end using a cap and socket piece.
Try On!
Make sure the ends snap together and are able to be pulled back apart, you may need to do some extra hammering to make sure everything is even.
