Assembling the Body
Take the 4 x 12 blue plate and add a 4 x 1 brick with side studs onto one end as shown in the second picture. Put the 2 x 4 round slope on the side studs then add two 2 x 3 bricks behind the 4 x 1 like in picture four.
Take two 2 x 2 bricks and put them across the 4 x 1 and the 2 x 3's.
Add two 2 x 2 bricks behind the other two like in picture one, then put a 1 x 4 brick on top of the front two 2 x 2's.
Place two 2 x 3's behind the 1 x 4 as in the third picture and put a 2 x 4 brick on top of the last bricks you placed like in picture four.
Put a 2 x 1 dark grey cheese slope on the base plate behind the 2 x 3's facing outwards. Add a 2 x 2 dark grey jumper plate behind the cheese slope and then place another cheese slope facing in the opposite direction from the first one.
Add two 1 x 4 x 3 dark grey window frames on either side of the other dark grey bricks like shown in picture one. Put a dark grey 2 x 4 brick behind the window frames and then stack two blue 2 x 2's on top of it.
Put two 2 x 1 blue bricks in the space left between the 1 x 4 and the round slope like shown in picture three.
Place a 2 x 4 blue brick on top of the 2 x 3's in front of the window frames and add two blue 1 x 4's on top of the 1 x 2's as in the fourth picture.
Assembling the Mechanism
Put aside the body of the build and begin working on the mechanism.
Take a black technic L-bar and a blue L-bar and position them as in the first picture. Pass a black 4 stud long cross-axle through the third hole from the long end of the L-bar.
Add two 1 x 1 yellow bushings, one on either side of the L-bar onto the axle, then add a red 2 stud long cross-axle in the first hole of the long side on the black L-bar.
Put another red axle in the fourth hole on the long side of the blue L-bar, then connect the two red axles with two cross-hole connectors so that you have something that looks like picture five.
Put a 1 x 4 technic brick onto the mechanism that you made in the last step as shown in the first photo then set them aside.
Position a black 1 x 2 technic brick like shown in the second picture and then put a light grey stud-peg into the right hole and a light grey small pulley wheel onto the stud like in picture three. Add a red 2 stud long cross-axle into the hole below the stud, it will not go all of the way through, that's okay because you really don't want it to.
Put a 4 stud long black cross-axle through the center hole of the axle connecter hub (the three pointed long bushing looking thing in the first picture) like shown in the second picture. Then add two small light grey bushings, one on either side of the hub like in the third photo.
Take a black 1 x 2 technic brick and set on your work surface like shown in the fourth picture. Put a dark grey 1-1/2 studs long pin in the left hole as in photo five.
Add a light gray small pulley wheel onto the dark grey pin that you put in the black technic brick on the last step, as shown in the first photo.
Then get the L-bar assembly that you made in step five and add a small rubber band so that you have something that looks like picture two. Take the pulley wheel assembly from step six and add it so that the red axle passes through the fourth hole from the long side of the L-bar like in picture three.
Put the axle hub assembly and place it in the other hole in the black brick as in photo four, then put the other pulley wheel assembly on top of both the red peg and the hub assembly.
Putting It All Together
Take a blue 2 x 2 plate and add a light grey 1 x 1 round plate in the center like in picture two, wrap the rubber band from the L-beam around the light gray 1 x 1 as shown in photo three.
Grab two 2 x 4 blue bricks and put two 2 x 2 inverted slopes on the bottoms, one on each brick, like in picture five.
Put a 2 x 2 round plate on top of the 1 x 1 plate with the rubber band. Now add the assembly from step nine
on to the front of the gun as shown in picture two. Then add two 4 x 2's blue bricks going the opposite direction like in the fourth picture.
Place a 2 x 8 blue brick on the round plate, covering the mechanism as in photo five. now add two 2 x 1's and one 1 x 4 on either side of the back.
Add four 2 x 2 bricks beside the 2 x 8 brick. Put a 1 x 2 brick with a axle hole in front of a 1 x 2 brick with a peg hole, as shown in picture two and three.
Take the light grey cross-axle to peg 2 x 1 x 1 connector and place a blue cross-peg in the peg hole and a light grey 3 stud long cross-axle in the axle hole so that you have something that looks like the fifth picture.
Now put the assembly from the previous step on the 2 x 1 bricks with holes in the
center. Then add two 2 x 2 jumper plates on either side of two 6 x 1 flat tiles. Put two
6 x 1 light grey on the front of the gun and add two 1 x 8 dark gray tiles on the back of the gun.
and You're finished!
Done!
Now all you have to do is load the rubber bands on and your done!
