I read the article "CLOUD LAMPS BRING THE MAGIC OF THE OUTDOORS INSIDE" POSTED BY RACHAEL BERKEY ON MARCH 26, 2016.

I copy his idea and use the ws2812 led strip (one of the neopixel) and the blinkytape controller and finish my own cloud light in 1 hour.

Materials

LEDs and its controller----

option 1:

Neopixel LED strip ---WS2812/ SK6812 /WS2811 ...

Blinkytape controller ---it packs in an Arduino compatible ATMega32u4, pre-loaded to party with the BlinkyTape firmware! And it is supper tiny with size 27x10mm.

option 2:

Blinkytape

option 3:

Blinky Pixel

USB power bank (it is better if its size is small than the bottle mouth. Then you can put the controller and the usb power bank into the bottle. )

Empty water bottle

Cotton

hot glue

fish wire

Mount the Led Strip on to the Water Bottle

mount the ws2812 led strip onto the empty water bottle

Cut some U shape on the empty water bottle, and mount the WS2812 LED strip on to it.

Then use the Blinkytape controller to test the strip function before add the cotton onto the bottle.

*** If you use Blinkytape directly, you can just mount it and then add the usb power bank and test it.

***If you use the Blinky Pixel light you can just drill the holes and mount the pixels onto the bottle.

Add the Cotton

Use the hot glue attach the cotton on to the water bottle.

Draw Your Pattern

I use the spray and line to draw the pattern and save to the Blinkytape controller
