Easy Iron Man Repulsor

Did you ever want to be Iron Man? Well you are now one step closer to becoming Iron Man with this easy Iron Man repulsor.

Tools and Parts

The tools and parts you will need are:

  • A glove
  • Wire strippers
  • 4.5 volt battery holder
  • Soldering iron
  • Double sided tape
  • Lid from a baby food jar
  • A DOT-it light
  • Hot glue gun
  • Sandpaper
  • Drill

Remove the LEDS

Open the DOT-it light and remove the LEDs. Cut the wires connecting the LEDs to the original battery holder.

Drilling and Sanding

Now mark and drill holes for the LEDs in the lid. Start sanding the lid, the clear plastic part, and the tops of the LEDs. Cut a small hole for the wires to go to the battery holder.

Wiring

Now just connect the wires from the LEDs to the battery holder and solder them. Dont forget to insulate the connections with electrical tape.

Glue and Tape

Attach the battery holder to the back of the glove with some double sided tape. Put some double sided tape on the bottom of the LEDs and glue the button to the lid, DON'T glue the LEDs because they have to go up and down when the button is pressed. Glue the light to the palm of the glove and add some glue on the edge of the lid to make it look good.

Fun Time

Now go and fight crime with your new Iron Man repulsor. You can probably fit a button cell battery in there too but I didn't have them. Now add some armor and you're ready to go fight the Mandarin. Have Fun and Vote please.
