Easy Homemade Soap

Time: 60 minutes / Difficulty: Easy

Supplies

- Soap melt and pour soap base (found at any of your local craft stores)

- Soap mold

- Glass mixing bowl

- Wooden mixing spoon

- Essential Oils

- Soap color (found at your local craft store) (optional)

- Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol

- Soap cutter (knife)

- Microwave

Cut a 1 pound (16 ounce) portion from the hardened soap base from the block (or as much as you want) and cut it into smaller piece. Then, places these smaller pieces into the glass mixing bowl.

Heat desired amount in microwave. (40 seconds on high, then 10 second intervals until melted)

Once the soap is in complete liquid form, place color and essential oil(s) in the bowl. 10 drops of color and 10 drops of essential oil(s) of your preference. Mix together.

Spray the soap mold with rubbing alcohol, so the soap does not stick to the mold.

Spray the soap mixture with rubbing alcohol, as well. If there are any bubbles in the mixture, simply stir them out with your mixing spoon.

Once you have poured the soap mixture into the molds, let sit out at room temperature for about an hour or until soap is completely firm.

When your soap is completely firm, it's time to enjoy your homemade soap!
