I know, I know... Everyone at this point is so tired of the pandemic and all the thing this brought with it. But hey!! We can take advantage and make some cute thing for sell or give as a gift.

I try to do the most easy way to do a hand sanitizer holder, totally customizable. You can explore new stitches and patterns, or adapt it to other products to carry like handcream or make it more big and use for carry bottles.

Attention: The way you can measurement your H.S. holder is with your H.S. bottle. Is important because because no matter what type of yarn you use, the number of stitches depends on the thickness of the yarn and the size of the bottle

Supplies

A crochet needle (I used a 5 mm needle)

A Ball of wool, This proyect no required so much (depends of your H.S. bottle), so you can use remnants of wool from another proyects.

A Hand Sanitizer bottle as a model

A small piece of rubber thread

Row 1

Begin with a magic ring, next do single stitches until you rounded all the bottle's cap, in my case I needed 30 stitches. Close the circle with a slip sitich

Row 2

Chain 1, do single stitches around and finish with a slip stitch, I do 30 stiches.

(You can repeat this row until you reach all the borders of the top of bottle, in my case with two rows was enough )

Row 3

Chain 3, do double crochet but like we want to do the body of the bottle, in this row we gonna do the stitches only taken one of the treads of the knitted, like in the photo.

Finish with a slip stitch

Row 4

Embed rubber thread in crochet knitted

Take a small piece of rubber thread, mine is 6.5cm. Make a ring and now we going to incorporate to the knitted.

Chain one, do single crochet all around, while you put in the middle the ring rubber thread. close with a slip stitch.

This is the holder!!

How you can see is so easy, but you can level up the proyect doing a more complex pattern - maybe a chevron style, for example.

Strap

For the strap I braided six threads of wool to reach a long of 24 cm.

I secured the strap to the body with two knots on the sides. Being the same color it is not noticeable in the knitted. Leave a longer side to add some beads.
