Easy Fountain

Create an easy water fountain out of basic materials. Decorate or leave blank for a beautiful indoor/outdoor fun project!

Gather Materials

Materials needed: 3 Home Depot pots, can be ceramic but plastic is easier to drill holes in

Water Pump- 3ft maximum

1/2 ID tubing (May vary with pump choice)

Drill

Hot Glue gun

Plant (optional)

Bowl (mine is metal, if you find a better one it is only used to hold the pots up)

Home Depot circular plant tray

Drill Holes in Second and Third Largest Pots

With the drill, make holes in the second and third largest pots. Afterwards, put the tubing through the holes ending in the second largest pot.

Hot Glue the Pots Together

Use hot glue to glue the bottom pot to the tray, the bowl to the pot, the second largest pot onto the bowl, the coffee can to the second pot, the third pot the can and the plant in the third pot.

Attach Pump to the Tubing

Attach the pump to the bottom of the tubing, and fill the fountain with water.

Add Decorations (optional)

You may add small rocks or paint the pots, but for the purposes of utilitarianism I left mine plain.

Finished!
