There is no peanut butter cookie that is better than these. I once (accidentally) won a dessert contest with these 15 minute cookies. It was a potluck, and I didn't know that desserts were being judged--I just needed something quick to bring and only had 20 minutes until the next bus.

Time: approximately 15 minutes total

(5 minutes prep, 7 minutes cook, 3 minutes cool)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup turbinado sugar
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (crunchy or creamy)
  • 1 egg

Makes about 15 medium size cookies

Preheat Oven to 325 F

Measure Your Ingredients

Any order is fine, but I like to measure sugar first, so I can use just one measuring cup.

Mix It Up!

Approximately 1-2 tablespoons per ball and place the balls of cookie dough on a cookie sheet. Peanut butter is pretty oily, so greasing the sheet is unnecessary.

Bake at 325 F for 6-8 Minutes

My oven runs a little hot, you might need 350. Back in college, I used to make these in a toaster oven in the kitchenette.

Or don't transfer them. It's up to you.

Enjoy!

These cookies go fast, so consider making a double batch!
