Easy Delicious Edamame (Green Soybean) Snack








Here's a healthy, delicious snack that does not take a lot of time to fix. Edamame, green soybeans, are in their pods. You can buy them frozen or if you are lucky get them fresh out of your garden. By adding seasonings, you can make this so tasty. Everyone will love it.
INGREDIENTS

1 10oz. bag of edamame
Salt
Tamari
Roasted Sesame oil
Salt

Cook Beans

Using a medium sized sauce pan, fill it with water, add some salt -about 1 tablespoon--
and add the soybeans.

Boil

Cook beans in the uncovered saucepan on medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes. Stir occationally. Check to see if they are cooked and tender, not mushy.
Drain

Drain water off and leave in the pan.
Add Seasonings


Add some tamari and a few dashes of toasted sesame oil.
Toss and Serve

Toss pods around so the sesame oil and tamari nicely coat them.
Serve and enjoy!
If you have never eaten soybeans before, with your fingers, take the pod and pop the beans into your mouth. Don't eat the pod, pitch it. They are fun to eat!
