Easy DIY Marshmallow Launcher (3 Steps W/ Pictures)
This launcher is pretty simple, but does require you to be careful when sealing all components. Compressed air can be dangerous, so use discretion when building and only pump to low pressures. I kept some of the components vague so you can make it the size you would like. I put what I used in parentheses.
Supplies List:
Schrader Valve (1/4")
PVC Ball Fitting (1/2")
PVC Pipe (2 pieces of 2' x 1/2" Diameter)
Pressure Gauge (1/2") that came with a 1/4" Brass Tee Fitting (Can't find the Home Depot link to it but it was in the air compressor section)
Brass 1/4" to 1/2" Coupling
1/2" Piece PVC Coupling (Threaded on one side)
Bike/Ball Pump
Marshmallows (or other snack)
Step 1: Use Brass Tee Fitting to Secure Schrader Valve and Pressure Gauge
Make sure to use coated threads to keep the air sealed. Tighten all threaded components using a wrench to make sure they are securely in place. Any loose pieces can be a great danger.
Step 2: Use PVC Primer and Cement to Secure All Non-threaded Pipe and Fittings.
For pressurized devices, you need to use primer and cement so the pieces are secured.
Step 3: Pump to Desired Psi, Fill With Marshmallows, and Have Fun!
Please do not pump the air to a pressure that is greater than what the components you got are rated for. Compressed air can be dangerous.
