Today am sharing the pattern for a Easy Crochet Snowflake Doily. The Pattern is very simple made with the basic stitches. The Crochet Picot Stitches makes up the intricate and pretty Snowflake pattern. This Doily Size can be easily altered according to your choice. This will be a great addition to your Holiday Decor.

Notes:-

For this whole Pattern, the Starting Chain 2 is not counted as a stitch. 

It is Just to bring the yarn to a working height. 

Start the next stitch in the same stitch.

4 mm Crochet Hook

Round 1:-

Start with a Magic Circle.

12 Double Crochets in the circle.

Pull the yarn end to close the gap.

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

12 Stitches.

Round 2:-

Chain 2.

2 Double Crochets in each stitch around.

Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

24 stitches.

Round 3:-

Chain 2. 1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.

2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC, 2DC).

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

36 Stitches.

Round 4:-

Chain 2. 

1 Double Crochet each in 2 stitches.

2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC*2, 2DC)

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

48 Stitches.

Round 5:-

Chain 2. 

1 Double Crochet each in 3 stitches.

2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.

Repeat*(1DC*3, 2DC)

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

Change color while making the slip stich.

60 Stitches.

If you wish to larger size Doily, then follow the below mentioned increase pattern:-

Start each round with Chain 2(Not counted as a stitch)

Round 6--DC*4, 2DC in next stitch(72)

Round 7--DC*5, 2DC in next stitch(84) 

Round 8--DC*6, 2DC in next stitch(96)

 .....and so on.

Round 6:-

Chain 2. 

3 Double Crochets.

Skip 1 Stitch.

1 Double Crochet V-Stitch.(i.e.1 Double Crochet, Chain 2, 1 Double Crochet in the same Stitch.

Skip 1.

Repeat(3DC, Sk1, 1DC V-St,Sk1).

Once you reach the end, make a Slip Stitch on top of the First Double Crochet.

Round 7:-

Chain 1(not counted as a stitch). 

**1 Single Crochet.

1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.

Chain 3 Picot (i.e. Chain 3 and make Slip Stitch on top of the Single Crochet-(be sure to insert hook into both the loops))

1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.

In the Chain 2 Space of the V-Stitch make - (1 Single Crochet,1 Half Double Crochet,1 Double Crochet, Chain 3 Picot,(i.e Chain 3 and Make a Slip Stitch into the 1st Chain),Chain 3 Picot(i.e Chain 3 and Make a Slip Stitch into the 1st Chain), Chain 3 Picot(i.e Chain 3 and Make a Slip Stitch into the 1st Chain)- this will make the Snowflake Tip.

Finally Make 1 Slip Stitch on top of the Double Crochet(be sure to insert hook into both the loops)**

Repeat from ** to ** .

Once you reach the end make a Slip Stitch on top of the First Single Crochet and weave off.
