Easy Crochet Moon Knight Plush Toy (A Step-by-Step Visual Guide)
Hello everyone! Here I have a visual step by step pattern on how to make this plush Moon Knight toy! So far, Moon Night is my absolute favorite Marvel TV series! The constant plot twists make it extremely fun to watch, it keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time! In my opinion it is a very underrated show, and deserves more attention. I highly suggest you check it out, it's for sure worth a watch! Here's the link to the show!
This plush makes a great toy, gift or decoration for absolutely anyone who loves the show! However, if you plan to give this to a baby or infant, it might be good idea to switch out the plastic eyes for sewn ones. As the plastic safety eyes could be a choking hazard. If you have crocheted any amigurumi before, and you are familiar with the techniques that are required to make some very simple shapes, then you should have no problem with this project. As far as time goes, it took me (almost) one entire day to complete it.
I hope you enjoy this pattern! If you have any questions, comment below and I will get to them ASAP!

Fasten off and cut a long 6-7" tail for sewing the piece flat (as shown in the photos above), you'll want to mold the piece to be shaped like a crescent moon as much as possible. You can do this by pulling the top (row 1) inwards towards the bottom. After you have done this, then you can sew on the border. Use both gold and light grey yarn and sew the edges together, 2 stitches at a time. Set aside to sew onto the back later in assembly.
Fine Details
Texture On The Arms:
To add texture onto the arms, I added white "x" markings bordering the wrist of each arm. In the show, he has some criss-cross patterns on his arms so this was about as close as I could get to that in this pattern. Each "x" is about 2-3 stitches wide and they connect at each point with another "x", each "x" is about 2 stitches wide. Follow the visual instructions above to add this quick feature for extra detail! :)
The Gold "Belt":
In the photos above are a step-by-step visual guide on how to do a simple overlapping sewing stitch. In the photos I used the leg to demonstrate this stitch since I already completed the belt. Do the simple overlapping sewing stitch in a straight line across the waist, underneath the moon applique.
The Assembly
Start by pinning (If you have pins, if not then you will need to hold the pieces one by one in place to sew them onto the body) all the parts to the body as shown in the photo above. You can leave the cape out in the beginning because it will be added last. The head fits into the hood, but it will need to be sewn into the hood so it doesn't fall out. All the pieces aside from the hood & head can be attached normally as you would any other amigurumi plush. If you've never sewn an amigurumi plush together, here is a link to a super helpful video that will show you how. (Credit to "The Friendly Red Fox" for making such an awesome video on how to sew amigurumi!)
