The Crochet V-Stitch is a very versatile stitch. There are various variations to this stitch. Its a very easy and quick working stitch which gives a lovely textured look. The V-Stitch can be made with Single Crochet or Half Double Crochets or Double Crochets.
Today am sharing Easy Crochet Chunky Blanket Pattern and Tutorial. The pattern is made with Half Double Crochet V-Stitch. Using Chunky and Bulky yarn for making a Crochet Blanket is the best option. Chunky yarn has a soft texture and they make great warm cozy blankets. The chunky yarn makes this a very quick pattern to make.

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 80.
This measures around 40 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any even number of chains.
Round 2:-
In the 4th Chain from the hook make-(1 Half Double Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Half Double Crochet)- that's 1 Half Double Crochet V-Stitch made.
Skip 2 stitches.
1 Half Double Crochet V-Stitch(i.e.1 Half Double Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Half Double Crochet)
Skip 2.
Repeat(1HDC V-St,Ch1,1HDC V-St) Skip 2)
1 Half Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and turn your project.
Round 3:-
**This Round Onwards, we will be working only into the Chain 1 Space of the V-Stitch.
Repeat(1HDC V-St) -( i.e.1 Half Double Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Half Double Crochet) in each of the Chain 1 Space of the V-Stitch from the Previous round.
1 Half Double Crochet in the last Stitch.
Once you reach the end, Chain 2 and turn your project.
Round 4 Onwards:-
Keep Repeating Round 3 untill the size needed and weave off.
