Easy Cotton Peacocks

In this Instructable, I'm gonna show the method of making a very easy cotton peacock in less than 2 hours... And for this project, we will need only household items and some easy to found craft items....The process of making this project is very easy and straightforward... We don't need any fancy tools and items... Just use whatever you have... And use your own creativity to make your cotton peacock... So without wasting any more time... Let's get started...

Things We Gonna Need...

For making this particular project we will need only some basic items...

• A cardboard piece
• white cotton
• craft glue
• scissors
• coloured papers
• and some extra decorative items and pieces.....

For making this project.. we will firstly need a cardboard piece ... on which I first drew the rough outline of the picture or scene I wanted to make...

I used a pencil for this purpose and the drawing is a necessary step as this will help in the future process...

After the drawing has completed its now the time to start making the peacock body...

For that purpose, I used old pieces of newspaper crumbled into small balls and shapes as a filler...and used some glue to attach that on the cardboard... Here I'm making only one peacock... If you want ..you can alter the number and make different sized peacocks also...

Now its time to add the peacock tail feathers... for that purpose, I used cotton ... I basically shaped some cotton pieces into feather shape...by just tearing some cotton pieces...and then used my scissors to make the cuts on both sides...

I repeated this process for all of the feathers and then glued them on the peacock body made earlier...

here... the size and the number of the feathers are totally your choice....it also depends on the peacock size...

Use some more cotton rolled into strips and use those to cover the whole body of the peacock...

Repeat the same process for the head and the throat of the peacock...

I also made the beak with cotton as well...

make some decorative pieces with cotton for the head decoration of the peacock...this is very important ..as this is a very necessary piece for a peacock...

Also, don't forget to add the legs of the peacock...

after adding the decorative pieces for the peacock... its time to add the extra pieces for the background...

here I used some coloured papers... like some glitter papers....whatever you get...

I made a base like structure with the coloured paper...

here in this step, I made some green leaves... with which I also attached some other items... do these all with your own creativity...

I made one red rose using a red paper ..the process is very simple.. you can search that on the web...

Lastly, I glued the rose at the corner of the cardboard...with some paper leaves...

after all the steps are done..this is the time for adding a frame around the cardboard piece...

I used some black cardboard with glitters...and framed the cardboard...

this will also act like a base for the project...

and these were the steps for making this cotton peacock ... the project is very easy to make... but very attractive looking...

Anyone with minimum items can make this project...with minimum effort...
