Easy Compact Housing for Remote Areas

IMG_0778.png

When it comes to housing in places remote, every thing needs to be compact. This is why I designed this. Buildings are a hassle when trying to build a house from the ground up in a remote area. However this house is made up of only 5 main pieces to construct the building which can be delivered with a pickup truck. In addition this house is made to be added onto to make housing more affordable and customizable because it can be easily converted into a bigger house with a few adjustments. Finally the walls of the house are hollow making transportation easy and can be filled with sand or dirt to insulate the building.

Supplies

This housing that is shown above includes a big tank which will be used for storing water. In addition the tank can be used to heat up with the heat of the Sun so when it gets cold in the night the water can be used to keep the house warm and the cold of the night will keep the house cool during the day.

This house uses solar panels to also keep the house cool and for the house’s power supply. The power will keep the air conditioning working which the condensation can be recycled to be usable.

In the middle room in this configuration there is a garden which will provide food for the household.

Idea

My idea came from a building the same triangle shape which gave me the idea for “pods” which can be attached to make larger buildings.
