This octopus is incredibly cute and charming! just look at that sweet little smile....

or your chosen mouth expression...

Supplies

any color of air dry clay

black clay

white clay(optional)

ball tool

you can use oven bake clay but I prefer air dry since it doesn't make your hands feel weird.

Step One: the Head/body

Roll a circle as big as you want. Next, flatten one side and make it a bit like a cylinder with a round top but extremely short.

Step Two: Those Little Legs

grab another chunk of clay, but smaller and roll out a cylinder. then, make one side pointed and curve it. attach it to the body/head. Also, make sure to make 8. (optional: grab your ball tool and make indents on the side of the octopus leg. you may want to attach it to the body first.)

Step Three: the Mouth

Roll out a cylinder, then use the ball tool to curve on side. attach it to your octopus.

Step Four: Add the Eyes, and You Are Finished!
