How to Make Cheese Crackers With Only 3 Ingredients

This easy cheese cracker recipe is a birthday staple at my house. But instead of cheddar, we use grated parmesan and it's just as good. Whenever I'm homesick, I bake a fresh batch of these amazing crackers and try not to eat them all at once!
Supplies

You are only going to need 2/3 a cup of cheddar cheese (grated), 1/2 a cup of flour (no baking powder in it), 2 tablespoons of room temperature butter, and some spices.
The spices are the best part of the recipe because you can change them to make different styles of crackers. I always use paprika and black pepper, but you can add some garlic powder, onion powder, and dry herbs like oregano and thyme. Whatever you want!
Besides the ingredients, you will need a mixing bowl, a silicone spatula or spoon, a rolling pin, and a baking tray.
Mix Butter, Spices and the Cheese

First mix butter, cheese, and spices.
Add the Flour

Now add the flour and start mixing again. The consistency that you are looking for is like wet sand.
Add Two Tablespoons of Cold Water

Add 2 tablespoons of very cold water and start mixing again. When the flour mixture starts to clump, check the consistency, you should be able to form a ball with it.
Form a Ball of Dough and Wrap It in Plastic Wrap

Now form a ball of dough. Pay attention that the dough should not be sticky. After that, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for 20 or 30 minutes.
Roll Out the Dough

Cut the Dough Into Squares

Using a pizza cutter or a knife, cut the dough into squares (shaped like crackers) and make some holes in the crackers. These holes will prevent the crackers from forming air bubbles when baking and it will help them get crispy.
Bake at 180ºC for 12 to 15 Minutes

After you bake the crackers for 12 to 15 minutes at 180º C, let them cool down completely before eating them.
