An organizer is a must for everybody to sort and arrange things to able to use them efficiently. So, in this tutorial, I will guide you through the steps of making an easy cardboard organizer.

The things you are gonna need to make this organizer are:

1. A cutting mat

2. A glue gun

3. Some cardboard

4. A ruler

5. A paper cutter or Xacto knife

6. A pencil

7. An eraser

After gathering all the required materials, you can scroll down to the next step.

Making the Base

In this step, we need to make a 12.5 cm x 10 cm rectangle on a piece of cardboard using a ruler and a pencil. Then, we have to cut out the rectangle using an Xacto knife or in my case, a paper cutter. Then, the next step.

Making the Intersections

In this step, I drew a line from the from the mid-point of the bottom of the base an extended it to the top about 8 cm in length. Then I drew a 10 cm line parallel to the base meeting the point of the 8 cm line. Then, in another piece of cardboard, I drew a (10 cm x 5 cm) and a (8 cm x 5 cm) rectangle and cut them out using a paper cutter. These will act as walls of the intersections.

Then, I proceeded to the next step.

Making the Perimeter

In this step, I made the perimeter using another piece of cardboard. I added all the sides of the base to get the perimeter and it turned out to be 45 cm. So, a drew two long rectangular strips of measures : ( 20 cm x 5 cm ) and ( 25 cm x 5 cm ). Then I cut them using a paper cutter. Then I put them side by side to each of the sides and with a pencil, roughly marked their bending points.

After you have done so, you can proceed to the next and final step.

Gluing and Finalizing

In this step, I glued all the pieces: the intersections, the walls of the sides, etc. on to their respective positions with the help of a glue gun. One thing you should consider that I am not a pro at measurements, so it turned out that my pieces had some gaps between them, so, if you face such kind of a problem like me, just fill up the gap using glue gun. So, now your Easy Cardboard Organizer is complete!

It was a very easy build and making it takes a very less time and material. So, feel free to make this and post it in the "I made It" section. It is a very essential thing, and we can organize many things: from electronic components to even jewelry and even small stationary items. So, from now on, any small thing, especially those earrings or beads, which are very important to you will stay organized in this mini cardboard organizer.
