First, get out your frozen shrimp and put them in a strainer. You can use as many frozen shrimp as you need for your dish, so don’t worry about measuring them carefully. Put the strainer with the shrimp in your sink and turn on hot water. Turn your sink to the wide spray setting and let the hot water run over the shrimp until they are fully defrosted, about 5-7 mins.

Next, heat a chunk of butter in the pan until it melts fully. Pour the defrosted shrimp into the pan, and stir them around until they are fully coated in butter. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on the shrimp until the shrimp are fully coated all around. Continue to cook the shrimp until they are hot, have shrunk to about half of their previous size, and are slightly crispy. Add more butter to the pan if the shrimp begin to stick. Enjoy!
