Butterscotch Shapes
ingredients:
3/4 cup butterscotch
pretzel sticks
double boiler
cookie cutters
Measure butterscotch morsels and heat boiler.
Melting..........
Pour butterscotch into double boiler and stir until melted.
Spreading
Put wax paper onto a cookie sheet.Remove top part of double boiler and scoop melted butterscotch onto wax paper.Use the spoon to spread about 1/4 inch thick onto the wax paper.
Shape
Put cookie cutters into the butterscotch spread.Make sure they are pushed in all the way!
PRETZELING!! :)
Press pretzels in between the sides of each cookie cutter. You can opt out of adding them,but I'd recommend including them because it adds a salty taste.
Finish
Let cool for about 15 minutes. Then remove all of the excess butterscotch with a knife,still holding the cookie cutters down.Then gently press around the inner edges of the cookie cutters until butterscotch is loose.At this point,you should be able to pop butterscotch out,and then you're done! Enjoy!
