Easy Basic Yeast Dough for Pizza, Deserts, Dinner Rolls and More
This dough is quick, it's easy and best of all this recipe can be used for more than just bread or pizza. This is a great all in one recipe and can be used to make just about anything from cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, bread and more. From start to finish this dough can be made to a nice pizza crust in 20 minutes, rolls and bread in one hour or less and cinnamon rolls in just over an hour. To make it even better your family, will love the smell of fresh baked bread coming from your oven.
Pizza Recipe
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tbsp. quick rise yeast
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 6 cups flour
Rolls and Bread Recipe
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 1/2 tbsp. quick rise yeast
pinch of salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 cups flour
in a kitchen mixer using the dough hook attachment combine warm water, sugar, oil and yeast. Dissolve yeast in mixture and let stand 15 minutes for the yeast mixture to rise. Add 1 cup of flour, and throw in a pinch of salt continue adding flour until the dough pulls away from the center of the mixer. Continue mixing on medium speed about 9 minutes.
Immediately make into rolls or roll into bread put in prepared greased pans
Let rise until double in size about 20 minutes
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven about 18-22 minutes or until golden brown
Cinnamon Roll Recipe
1 1/2 cups warm water
2tbsp. quick rise yeast
pinch of salt
1/2 cup. sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 cups flour
1 Cube Butter
about 4 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
raisins (optional)
In a kitchen mixer using the dough hook attachment combine warm water, sugar, oil and yeast. Dissolve yeast in mixture and let stand 15 minutes for the yeast mixture to rise. Add 1 cup of flour, and throw in a pinch of salt continue adding flour until the dough pulls away from the center of the mixer. Continue mixing on medium speed about 9 minutes.
Let dough rise until doubled about 30 minutes
Using a rolling pin roll out on a clean dry surface using flour underneath so the dough will not stick. Roo out so dough is about 1/2 thick or more if you desire a thicker roll.
melt butter in microwave and let cool
in a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon
pour butter over the top of the dough spread evenly
add raisins if desired
Roll like a jelly roll
slice into cinnamon rolls about an 1" thickness
place into a well greased cake or glass oven pan
let rise until double
Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 20 minutes
Top with frosting and serve.
