Easy Basic Chicken Salad

In this Instructable, I will show you how to make a very basic yet very delicious chicken salad. I always eat it with a croissant in the form of a sandwich. It is yummy, especially for only using 4 ingredients.
Don't forget to follow me and check out my other Instructables.
Follow the easy steps below or watch the short video tutorial or do both!
Supplies

NOTE: I don't normally measure any of these ingredients, but this will give you an approximate amount of each ingredient that I use.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sliced grapes (150g)
- 1 cup of chopped celery (100g)
- 1 small to medium cooked rotisserie chicken or 3 cups of chopped chicken (420g), you can certainly add more or less, and use canned chicken if desired.
- 1 cup of mayo (230g)
Other optional ingredients you may want to try adding are fresh dill, tarragon, pecans, sliced almonds, chopped red onion, etc.
Tools:
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Bowl
- Spoon
Prep the Ingredients

Rinse the grapes and the celery and loosely dry them. Then slice the grapes in half and chop up the celery and add both of those to a large bowl.
Prep the Chicken

Now, break down the rotisserie chicken and chop it into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl. You should get around 2.5 to 3.5 cups of chicken from a small to medium chicken. You can also use canned chicken. I prefer the rotisserie chicken because it tastes better than canned. But if you are lacking in time or need to make a huge amount, use canned chicken.
Add That Mayo

Now, just add the Mayonnaise and mix everything together. And there you go, it is done. Super simple and basic. You may add half of the mayo at first and see if it is enough instead of using the whole amount.
Serve That Chicken Salad

I love to serve mine in the form of a sandwich. My favorite thing to use is fresh croissants. You can buy them from the store or follow my homemade croissant recipe ahead of time.
Enjoy!
Save any leftovers, covered in the bowl or in a ziplock bag, in the fridge for up to 3 days or so.
