Easy Banana Bread


I love to bake quick breads on the weekends. Not only does it fill the whole house with a warming aroma of sweetness, it only takes 10 minutes to throw together and makes breakfast quick and easy on busy weekday mornings. This is a very simple and easy banana bread that the whole family will love!
Serve warm with butter or try it toasted!
Banana Bread Recipe






Banana Bread
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/2 cup olive oil
2 eggs
2 very ripe bananas
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl combine flour, syrup, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl whisk olive oil, eggs, bananas and vanilla until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
How to Bake Banana Bread





Pour batter into your prepared loaf pan.
Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.
Slice, serve, eat and enjoy!
