This is my first Instructable, so please comment below if there is anything I can do to improve it/my future Instructables!

For this project, you need:

  • Bamboo
  • String/rubber band

Tools

  • Knife/saw
  • Scissors

Find Your Bamboo and String

First, you need to get your bamboo and string. Make sure the bamboo is flexible and the string not stretchy. You can go the other way around too, having rigid bamboo and attaching a rubber band.

Cut Notches

Take your bamboo and cut notches on the top so you can put your string or rubber band on it.

Stringing

Put your string/rubber band in the previously cut groove and make sure there is some string to tie a knot left on one end. Then, loop the long end of the string around about five times and then tie a knot. Repeat at the other end.

Using a Rubber Band

Do steps one and two the same.

Cut the Rubber Band

Cut the rubber band in half and make it thinner if you have a thick one.

Stringing

String it into the groove, but this time only tie a knot and do not loop it.
