Easy Bacon Cinnamon Rolls
I LOVE bacon, but I never thought of it being something that is good in a sweet way! So when I came across this recipe: http://quick-dish.tablespoon.com/2012/07/10/bacon-cinnamon-rolls/, I wasn’t too sure. The recipe was easy enough, and I was getting bacon for another recipe, so why not? Well, this recipe makes me happy. Trouble is, I want to eat the whole thing all by myself. So, let’s make this easy recipe for Easy Bacon Cinnamon Rolls.
Ingredients and Supplies:
1 package of pop and fresh cinnamon rolls (you choose)
Bacon
Pie plate
Nonstick cooking spray
Paring knife
1 package of pop and fresh cinnamon rolls (you choose)
Bacon
Pie plate
Nonstick cooking spray
Paring knife
Preheat the oven to the temperature indicted on the roll package, mine said 400°. Spray the pie plate with the nonstick cooking spray.
Next you cook the bacon until it is partially done. It needs to be flexible enough to be able to roll around the cinnamon roll.
Blot very well with paper towels.
Open the package of cinnamon rolls. I had never used this kind before, and I was a little disappointed, because the rolls were not rolled.
They had pressed the roll design on the top of the roll,
but it didn’t go all the way through.
So I took a paring knife and cut all the way through the dough to get a long strip of dough.
I then used the paring knife to cut the bacon in half, length wise, for the bacon was way too wide for these rolls.
I laid the bacon long the length of the roll dough,
and rolled it up like a cinnamon roll..
Place the roll on to the pie plate. Repeat with the other rolls
Bake for 20 minutes as directed on the package. You want the tops to be lightly brown.
Spread the icing that came in the roll package onto the hot rolls.
Now for the test.
Yum!

Yum!
Done!
Enjoy!
