Supplies

Ingredient:
- 1/4 cup of butter (56g)
- 1 cup of all purpose flour (120g)
- 1/2 cup of sugar (100g)
- 1 Tbsp of baking powder (15g)
- 1/2 tsp of salt (2g)
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon (1g)
- 1/2 tsp of nutmeg (1g)
- 1 cup of milk (240g)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract (5g)
- 20 oz can of apple pie filling/topping (566g)
Tools/Equipment:
- 7x11-inch baking pan or use an 8x8-inch pan. 8x11 will work too
- Bowl
- Whisk
- Spatula
Preheat the Oven and Melt That Butter

Place the butter in your pan and then put the pan in the oven. Preheat the oven to 375°F or 190°C. As it preheats, the butter will melt, which is exactly what we want.
Make the Batter

Add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl and whisk. Then pour in the milk and vanilla extract and mix until combined. There you go, the batter is done. Most likely, the oven still won't even be preheated all the way.
Bake That Cobbler

Once the oven is preheated, use an oven mitt and pull out the pan. Pour all the batter in the pan and spread it out evenly. Do not stir it in with the butter. Then open your can of apple pie filling and evenly spread that out on top. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown on top.
Allow the cobbler to cool 15ish minutes before serving.
Serve It!

Serve the cobbler however you want. I like to serve mine with some ice cream. Enjoy!
