Easy 7+ Pockets Origami Folder! (Traditional Model)
It can be hard to find a good place to store drawings and other art. When I came across this design, I found it very functional and was ecstatic. With at least 7 pockets, this folder holds not only thin things like paper, but also things like binder clips, erasers, and small pencils.
Supplies
- 1 sheet of paper, size doesn’t matter. You can choose to use square or rectangular paper.
Folding I
Fold the paper in half.
Then unfold and fold the left and right sides to the crease in the middle. This will split the paper into four sections.
(See pictures for reference.)
Folding II
Unfold. Fold each corner to the closest crease on both sides.
Then fold both sides to the middle crease once again.
(See pictures for reference.)
Folding III
Flip the paper over. Then fold the paper, but stop at the half crease (usually the crease is at a 3 inch mark).
Then fold the rest of the paper on top of it.
(See pictures for reference.)
Final Step
Now insert the corners of your previous fold into the pockets from the underlying fold.
(See pictures for reference.)
Done!
Now you have completed the folder! You can fold it in half to make it like a book. On the pictures above I show the 7 pockets on the sides, front, and back.
