Easy 3-Ingredient Chocolate Fudge
In this Instructable, learn how to make awesome chocolate fudge with just 3 ingredients. I am a huge chocolate addict and fudge addict, this is one of my favorite fudge recipes to make, it is quick, easy, creamy, and delicious. I don't think it is quite as good as my traditional old fashioned fudge recipe, but still amazing and much easier to make than that.

Supplies
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups of chocolate (chocolate chips, chocolate chunks, etc.) 420g
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (396g)
- 2 Tbsp of butter (30g)
TIP: If you would like to add more ingredients, walnuts/pecans and vanilla extract are great choices (1/2 or so of nuts, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract)
Tools:
- Microwave-safe bowl or use a pot
- Spatula
- Spoon
- Parchment paper
Heat the Milk and Butter
Add the sweetened condensed milk to a medium bowl along with the butter. Then heat it in the microwave on high for 2 minutes and 30 seconds (1200-watt microwave) or a little longer in a lower-watt microwave. The mixture needs to get very very hot.
If you would like to do this in a pot on the burner, set the heat to medium and heat the milk and butter to 220F/105C. This particular method does not need to go all the way to the softball stage which is (235 to 240F)
Add the Chocolate
Add all the chocolate chips, chocolate bar chunks, etc., and press them into the hot sweetened condensed milk. Then let it sit undisturbed for about 5 minutes. This method is similar to making chocolate ganache.
Stir Stir Stir
Now stir the fudge vigorously until it becomes smooth, it will only take a few minutes if that.
Cool and Cut
Spread the fudge out into an 8x11-inch dish lined with parchment paper. A trick I use to keep the parchment paper on the bottom of the dish or pan is to spray the pan with cooking spray first. The parchment paper will stick to it keeping it in place.
NOTE: If you want thicker fudge use a smaller pan, if you want a thinner fudge use a larger one.
Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes then put it in the fridge for 1 1/2 to 2 hours until firm.
Slice it into squares and serve!
TIP: If your knife is sticking to the fudge when cutting add a little cooking oil to it, or run the blade under very hot water and then dry it with a paper towel. The hot blade will slice through the fudge more easily.
Enjoy!
