***Note this recipe serves 6-8 people. If you wish to double the recipe, double the ingredients and cooking time may vary.
First Things First
Preheat oven to 450° degrees F
Warming the Whipped Cream
Pour 1/2 cup of heavy whipped cream into a microwave safe bowl.
Heat for 30 seconds in the microwave, or in a pot over medium heat until warm. Your cream should become lighter and look more like milk.
Set to the side.
Chocolate Makes Perfect
Lets break out those delicious chocolate chips.
Mix both the bags of white chocolate and regular chocolate chips together and evenly spread the chocolate in the bottom of your skillet.
(Note: If you only prefer chocolate, use two bags of chocolate chips instead of white.)
Add the Whip Cream
Grab the heated whip cream from the microwave.
Evenly pour the whip cream over the chocolate chips.
Add the Peeps
Of course we can't forget about those delicious peeps.
Arrange 5 bags of peeps standing head up on top of the chocolate.
Get creative! You can add them in a pattern, or arrange them based on color.
However you choose to do it, make sure the Peeps completely cover the chocolate.
Bake
Your oven should be pre-heated by now.
Bake your s'mores for 8-10 minutes
For best results, at 8 minutes start checking on your s'mores. You want your peeps to be turning a golden brown.
You're Finished!
Take your dish out of the oven!
Your skillet will be hot, make sure you have a trivet or pot holder to lay your skillet on for serving.
Let stand for 2-3 minutes to avoid scalding the roof of your mouth.
Arrange your graham crackers near the skillet for easy dipping and provide a serving spoon to avoid those annoying double dippers.
And there you go! You have the cutest and most delicious dish at any Easter family gathering. Enjoy and please share! (:
