ESP8266 - Timed and Remote Controlled Socket (elderly Security)
INFORMATION:
This assembly is a check against overheating, fire and accidents in case of forgetting connected appliances (mainly by elderly people with Alzheimer's). After the button is triggered, the socket receive 110/220 VAC for 5 minutes (another value can be reprogrammed in the sketch) only, enough for toasters, sandwich makers, blenders and others and is then turn off. These commands can also be given via the internet or local network, browsers or android application (i programmed and tested). Access is by IP address/specific port. The sketch (IDE Arduino) is available. Just contact me.

Adequacy of Integrated Circuits in the Socket Structure
We will use a wall socket and stick it to the start button and the led.
We introduced in the free spaces the printed circuit of the source (5Vdc) and the relay module / 3.3vdc / esp8266.
We connect the source with 2 wires (+ and - 5vdc) to the ESP8266 circuit.
Push Button and Led Electrical Connections.
Connect 2 wires to the reset contacts of the esp8266 to the trigger push button.Connect the relay output (NO- normally open contact) to resistor R1 of 33 Kohms 1/2 watt, diode D1 and LED. The other pin of the LED connect to NEUTRAL (110/220 VAC) - see block diagram.
Drilling and Fixing External Accessories
In the images we see the fixation of the led and the push button on the structure of the socket.
The holes made in the plastic cover of the socket must match the push button and the led.
I fixed it with quick glue.
Graphical Presentation of Connections and Finish
Connections must be made with the appropriate wiring that supports the current and voltage used (consumption of household appliances);
.Finish job and view the web site with commands.
