EMP Winch Bumper Installation on Polaris RZR

The following is the installation process for the EMP winch bumper on the Polaris RZR. The installation process is nearly identical on the Ranger, Teryx, and other models.

Install the Bumper Brace.

The first step in the installation process is to install the bumper brace in the front end behind the turn down bars. Slide the brace into place so the cutouts fit snug against the turn down bars and then install the u-bolts around the outside of the turn down bars.

Install the Braces to the Back of the Bumper.

There are two bolts that attach each brace from the back of the bumper. There is one bolt that mounts the top of the brace to the bumper. Install all three bolts securely, as it will be difficult to tighten them once the bumper is installed. Repeat on the other side.

Install the Bumper Against the Rear Brace.

Slide the bumper side braces through the front end and install the three bolts on each side. Leave loose for now.

Install the Front Lower Brace on the Bumper

The front lower brace attaches to the middle of the back of the bumper and the rear brace. Tighten all four bolts.

Tighten All Bolts
