EASY Headphone Storage Hacks

You ever find you have a bunch of wires / or headphones that you stuff in a drawer and just don't have a way to keep them all untangled? Well here are a few easy ideas for keeping them untangled with just kitchen or office supplies. If you have any good ideas to add to it, please let me know and I'll put some more pictures up. There are lots of different ways to do this, but these are the options I had laying around. Hopefully this will spark some creativity!

Empty spool of thread
Bread ties
Empty (or near empty) tape dispenser
Scissors
Headphones / other wires

First thing, you're gonna want to untangle them. Sorry there's no instructions for that part. If it's tangled THAT bad, my advice would be chuck it and get new ones. :)

Bread bag ties come in lots of different sizes, so choose one you like and if (like mine) it needs a larger hole, give it a snip with some scissors. Viola! Instant tangle-free method!

Not the most aesthetic though.... So let's try another method.

You want to find a small spool of thread which has next to no thread left on it. If you can't find one, ask your mom or grandma - they usually have some stash of them hidden someplace.

Wrap it around the spool ear-buds first and then loop the end around the ear-buds before sticking the end down the spool for security and storing away.

Easy, but not very accessible afterward (takes 15 seconds to unwind). Let's try another method.

For this one, you just need an empty tape dispenser. You may need to empty it yourself because not many people keep empty tape dispensers around for fun.

So all you do is take the empty roll off and take the paper out to begin wrapping. Just wrap it around until it's secure and it makes for easy storage.

OR.... there's another way, which is pretty cool. Let's try the next one.

For this one, you want to get a pair of scissors and twist them to drill a hole through the back of the plastic of the tape dispenser. Make sure to drill a hold big enough for the end of the headphones to fit through. Then, just pull the end all the way through until you have just the ear-buds inside the dispenser. Take the ear-buds and twist them around the inside of the tape dispenser until it's all wound up.

Then all you have to do is tuck it away until you want to use it! Just pull the ear-buds out when you are ready to use it!
