EASY RC ROBOT V2
Hello! again people's.
I had a question from someone who is interested in robotic but can't perform a study since it is costly to do. I got blur idea of doing something about it through paper. I think so or can say somewhat believe that I am not the only person who has thought about it, we all are on common ground with our similar brain and problem. so first what I did is to search online for any existing project that I can learn, replicate and share with children.
And Yes! I found some existing projects. The one I liked most and replicated is from here voltpaperscissors.com. He also has many other wonderful projects so do visit his page. Thank you!
So I will recreate what is already there with my little modification. Since I want it to work with components we have here.
Supplies
Material Requirement :
- 2 x Toy L-Shaped Gear Motors
- Ribbon Wires
- 9V Battery and Connector
- Copper or any Conductive Tape
- ~2mm Cardboard sheet (Good to use waste Cardboard)
- silicon hot glue gun
- glue
Tool Requirement :
- Soldering Station
- Scissor
Designs
Take a printout of the given design on A4 sheets
Downloads
Cut
Start cutting off each given design graphic
Paste
Paste it on a cardboard sheet using glue
Cut Again and Do Some Wiring
Cut it out again and now you have thick cuts of the given design. Follow the marking to place copper or conductive tape and connect 3 ribbon wires of 1m each from remote to the body using a soldering iron. Stick front face to its place as shown in the image.
Glue Motor and Battery
Fold design from given marking and glue motor using silicon hot glue. Solder motor wires on it given place. If the motor runs backward then change the wire orientation and resolder it again. Glue or tape battery in its place.
Glue Wheels
Glue both wheels on motors and Here you have done!.
Test
Next and Final test run it to see it working well or not.
A common mistake that happens is
- loss connection
- wrong wiring
- not glue properly
When it is about learning, mistakes are opportunities.
Thank you!
