EASY Obstacle Scanner for Robots (LiDAR) Must WATCH

thumbnail.png

It is a VL53L0X Lidar sensor based scanner. It can capable of scanning up-to 180 degree. The Arduino is the main processor in this project. An LCD screen is used to display real time angle and range details. The processing software is used to mapping the sensor data. So we can map the area around the sensor (180 degree) in the PC. It is a 2D version. I plan to make a 3D version. It is coming soon.

Supplies

Here you can find a parts list

LiDAR sensor: VL53L0X

Arduino

LCD display : 1602

Resistor: 1K, 470E

Capacitor: 100uF, 100nF

Breadboard

Small Servo Motor

Small pieces of breadboard connecting wires
