E-cig / Laser Pen Replacement Button

In this instructable I will show you a quick method of replacing your lost or missing e-cig or laser pointer firing button.

Materials needed:

1 exacto knife or utility blade

1 e-cigarette or laser pointer missing it's button.

1 replacement eraser for automatic pencils.

First cut the top of the eraser leaving a flat side.

Next cut the eraser to your desired length. Mine was roughly a 1/4".

Once you have the eraser cut to your desired length push it through the opening of the e-cigarette a few times turning it a little every time. This will shave a little material off of the sides Do this until the eraser no longer sticks when depressed.

You may also shape the button at this time by rubbing it on some paper or by using the razor.

Clean up any loose material, and enjoy. The eraser is convenient in that it's easy to find, easy to shape, let's led light through around the edges, and feels great to the touch.
