Duplo Universal Smart Phone Stand

I was having trouble finding a stable DIY phone stand on the web. I wanted one that would accommodate the phone in portrait mode, because I have a workout app that does not support landscape. I tried several different DIY projects and none of them seemed very stable. The ones that looked better seemed really involved with lots of different steps and materials.
So I raided my son's toy bin and came up with a duplo block stand that is extremely stable for both portrait and landscape mode.
You will need five pieces of 2x8 duplo, arranged as I've done in the photos. I've included a side view so that you can see how they are assembled. It is not very elegant looking but it is very stable, even for a heavy phone in portrait mode.
Enjoy!
