Dulce De Leche Macaroons

So i decided to see what i could whip up in a Hour. These Dulce de leche macaroons were just the thing my sweet tooth was CRAVING!

  • 1 small can of Dulce de leche
  • 1 bag 400g / (shredded)sweet coconut flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • chocolate for dipping 1-2 cups
  • vanilla extract

optional,

  • Flour to thicken them up
  • cherries for the top

Supplies

  • baking sheet
  • spatula
  • piping bag or silicone molds

Mix Up the Main Ingredients

Mix the Dulce de leche into the coconut and add the two eggs. Optionally you can add some vanilla extract here for a bit of a flavor boost!

Pipe Out or Fill Your Molds

Now here is where i really wish i had a pilling bag :(...

Fill up the piping bags or use your molds

Refrigerate

Keep these babies cool for a good 2H in the freezer or, until they feel feel solid

Melt your chocolate in a double boiler and dip the cold macaroons so there is chocolate on the bottom, or completely cover then in chocolate! :D
