-Snip the excess zipper sticking out of the side panel.

Choose Bias Tape Option

C0581.00_11_04_25.Still112.jpg

-We need to bias tape the side panel edge.

-This will clean up the edge and make for a more professional look.

  1. Premade bias tape
  2. Bias tape making kit
  3. Bias tape binder.

Premade Bias Tape

C0581.00_11_14_22.Still113.jpg
C0581.00_11_19_02.Still114.jpg

-Premade bias tape can be bought at the craft store and it is a simple solution.

-Place the raw edge in between the bias tape and sew down.

Bias Tape Making Kit

C0581.00_11_23_01.Still115.jpg
C0581.00_11_26_17.Still116.jpg
C0581.00_11_37_14.Still118.jpg
C0581.00_11_41_10.Still119.jpg

-Bias tape is installed same as the premade.

-The kit allows you to make your own matching bias tape.

-You also get to pick the size and it comes with a presser foot for easy installation.

-Feed your bias tape strip through the feeder and iron on the opposite side.

-It is really that simple.

-Once bias tape is made. Install it on bag.

Bias Tape Binder

C0581.00_11_58_10.Still120.jpg
C0581.00_12_16_10.Still121.jpg

-This is my favorite option.

-It is the easiest because it eliminates the process of making the bias tape.

-Place bias strip into binder and sew directly onto the edge of bag.

Finished!

C0581.00_12_38_02.Still123.jpg
